Lawrence Beer Company

Lawrence Beer Company is a brewpub in East Lawrence, with a second location, LBC West, on the west side of town. The founders had visited many breweries and noticed that their favorites shared a few traits: quality, attention to detail, a community focus and personality. They wanted a neighborhood gathering spot where people arrive with strollers and bikes and meet friends. Their stated goal is to serve fresh, quality beer and food to the people of Lawrence rather than distribute on a large scale. Staying local frees them to experiment with different styles and small-batch releases while keeping the beer fresh. The East Lawrence brewpub has dining, a patio and a private tasting room with a 22-seat board table and windows into the brewery. Its motto is Down the Street, Up Your Alley, and it also sells merchandise and kegs and offers catering and lodging.
