Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant

The Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant is a brewpub in Topeka named for a Prohibition-era custom. Illegal drinking establishments displayed stuffed or china tigers to signal that alcohol was available after hours. They were called blind because, officially at least, the authorities were unaware of them. There are usually six flagship beers on tap, plus many seasonal and specialty beers. At the 2014 World Beer Cup, it was named champion brewery and brewmaster in the large brewpub division. The restaurant serves a full menu built on 100% Kansas beef, with gluten-free and banquet menus available, and the same full menu is offered in the lounge and bar. The brewery also hosts events and offers online ordering.
