Happy Basset Barrel House

Happy Basset Barrel House is the newest location of Happy Basset Brewing Co., a Topeka craft brewery established in 2014. The Barrel House opened off Topeka Boulevard as part of the company’s expansion. It is designed as a place where community, music and beer come together, with a large open seating area and two separate patios. The Barrel House pours a wide selection of Happy Basset beers, which range from hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts. Live music and food trucks are a regular weekend feature. The space also hosts Sunday bingo, a Sunday brunch buffet, private parties and business meetings. Happy Basset’s beers have included Clurichaun Irish Red and a beer called Mangose. The company runs a mug club for regulars, offers catering and to-go orders and sells merchandise. It lists the Topeka Zoo and Big Brothers Big Sisters among its community associations.
