Big Grove – Prairie Village

Big Grove Brewery’s Prairie Village taproom is the Kansas City-area location of Big Grove, an Iowa brewery with taprooms in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Iowa City and Omaha, a brewpub in Solon and a coffee shop. The taproom has a full kitchen and bills itself as a game day headquarters, with more than 30 TVs inside and on the patio. Big Grove serves as the Iowa Hawkeyes’ official craft brewery and shows every Iowa game, and it also hosts Chiefs, Jayhawks, K-State and Mizzou fans. Its beer list has included Citrus Surfer, a citrus wheat beer that comes in flavors such as lime, mango and watermelon. The taproom also hosts events such as vintage and vinyl markets and takes requests for private events. Big Grove beer is sold beyond its taprooms, and the website has a beer finder.
