Force of Nature Brewing

Force of Nature Brewing is a craft brewery in downtown De Soto that infuses its beer with herbs. It brews standard craft beer styles with an herbal twist. Owners Alex and Lindsay Waller developed a love of craft beer in 2020 and moved to De Soto soon after. Their interest in the health benefits of herbs they grew at home led them to research how plants were used in brewing, including the fact that the earliest beers used herbs before hops. They decided that if they opened a brewery, it would make beer infused with medicinal herbs such as basil and lemongrass. The brewery operates in a local landmark known as Grandpa’s Garage, a preserved 1902 Ford building that once held Dean Weller’s car collection. The taproom serves beer and cocktails and features local art, live music, bingo and trivia.
