Kansas Territory Brewing

Kansas Territory Brewing Co. is a brewery in Washington, founded by Brad and Donna Portenier. The couple also own the local business Bradford Built, and they started the brewery out of a desire to create a hub where the community could gather. Its stated mission is to brew good beer, foster meaningful connections and capture the essence of Kansas in every pint. The owners also hope the brewery will build bridges, spark creativity and add to the life of the community. The beer list covers a range of styles, from dark ales to crisp light lagers and fruit-forward beers. It is led by a flagship trio: Life Coach, a pineapple version of Life Coach, and Bradford Light. The brewery’s beers have won awards, and the taproom serves as a gathering place for locals.
