Highwind Brewing Company

Highwind Brewing Co. is a restaurant and brewery in downtown Junction City founded on the idea that people need more reasons to gather. It began as an ambitious preservation project and has grown into a multi-level food and craft beer destination. The business is backed by 28 local families who value shared community spaces. Highwind says no other Kansas brewery combines 20 rotating taps, two kitchens and a hidden speakeasy. Mill Pizza serves artisan pizzas and salads, and 726 Bistro offers burgers, bowls, steaks and chef-driven specials. The taps pour house craft beer, house-made hard seltzers, a drink called Highwind Punch and seasonal releases, and the bar also serves cocktails, wine and spirits. Regular events include trivia, music bingo, steak nights, live music, karaoke and brunch. The brewery also books private parties and events.
